When selling your home, there is one very important trait you should expect your agent to possess - the ability to bring buyers to the table. Without them, your home will only be "For Sale!" With them, it will be "SOLD!" So what does that mean - "bringing buyers to the table?"

For a successful home sale, it is necessary not only to identify and attract buyers. They must also be motivated to make a purchase, and be financially qualified to complete it. Without the financial ability to consummate the purchase and/or the commitment to see it to its conclusion, they are not buyers - merely prospects.

So, where do you find an agent capable of bringing your buyer to the table? History is an excellent barometer. Look for an agent who has a history of completing successful sales. This individual will have a firm grasp on marketing your home to attract the right buyers. Negotiating skills and attention to detail will also be evident. Look for an agent who asks questions, and seeks solutions to concerns.

If the agent can satisfy your questions and concerns, takes the process seriously, and can show you a record of satisfied sellers, chances are excellent that buyers will also be pleased to act on the purchase of your home. Expect a record of results, and a very beneficial sale of your home.
